PICTURE TAG

Well, after 4 kids I am not the sharpest tool in the shed anymore. I was just reading Jen W's blog and noticed that I had been tagged awhile ago. I know I had seen the post before but I just missed the bottom part where it said my name. Here ya go:

1. My closet

2. The kitchen sink

3. The laundry room (catch all place since it is right off the garage. Yes that is the garbage can on the counter. I have been meaning to mop for a few days.)

4. Fridge (of course with plenty of DC)

5. Family Room (the TV seems to always be on)

6. Children - I have an extra one this weekend and he has a friend over! Hilary is at her friends house, (nice nose Marshall, gotta loves those boys)

7. My beloved flip flops (I was outside planting flowers - DIRTY)

8. Self Portrait (wow, I need to work on my hair before I go out)

I will tag . . . Mandi, Susan and Jen H(call me and I'll help you)

Unspectacular Me!

I have seen this a few times and someone finally got me, thanks Mandi. Here I go...

1. Post these rules.

2. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.

3. Tag 6 fellow bloggers by linking them.

#1 It takes me forever to clean my house because I get started and think cleaning really means cleaning out the entire house (cupboards, closets and all).

#2 I don't like to take a shower and get ready in the morning. I feel like it is a waste of time. I do it anyway and sure do feel better when I'm done.

#3 I can't stand clutter.

#4 I'm dying to read Breaking Dawn but I have so much going on that my family will suffer if I start. I also prefer warewolfs, they can keep you nice and warm.

#5 I love my family so much lately. I have found that if I serve them unconditionally our family is a lot happier. I got up and made pancakes and sausage for breakfast this morning. That was huge for me. I am so not a morning person.

#6 I hate to get my hands pruney from being in water for a long period of time. If you ever see me in a hot tub or swimming pool you will notice I have my hands out of the water as much as I can. WEIRD!

OK girls, get to it:

Back to School

Hilary and Marshall started school already. WOW I can't believe they are in 5th and 4th grade. They both love their new teachers and classes. Marshall says his teacher is funny and Hilary says her teacher has awesome games they play.

Summer FUN at Gateway

Summer was way too short this year for my kids. They went from D track to A track. With three weeks of summer we had to pack in the Summer Fun! We went to Discovery Gateway, the Fountains and of course had a little Ben and Jerry's.

Draper Days

What a fun and HOT day. Adam was out of town so I decided I was going to take the kids to the Draper City Parade. I'm not sure what I was thinking. I had Hilary and Marshall invite friends and they slept over. (CRAZY) We got a great spot thanks to Connie for staking her claim a week before the parade.

The kids got lot of candy and my Grandma was in the parade. She was riding in the shuttle bus of the place where she lives. Of course she was all dressed up in her pink satin western shirt with fringe dangling from her arms. She was so excited to see us cheering her on.That evening we went to the park for Draper Days. The kids got their hair done with glitter, faces painted, rode the train and bounced on the incredibly HOT inflatables. I did a little shopping and after an hour we were exausted from the sun.
On the way to the car we let all the kids ride the ponies. Andrew was so excited. He was woofing like a dog at the ponies and then...Adam and I put the kids to bed and enjoyed the fireworks and a little Fongs on the back deck!

Lake Powell Part II

What great family time we had at Powell this July. We love the campsite they have at Bullfrog. The kids have a blast playing at camp, roasting marshmallows and sleeping in a tent. We got the kids a Knee Board for the trip. They were awesome at it. Calli rode in the tube all by herself. Mom LOVES to drive while the kids are on the tube. Anyone want a ride? Hope you like the photos from our trip.
